Professor Robert Wistrich is Neuburger Professor of European and Jewish history at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and the head of the University’s Vidal Sassoon International Center for the Study of Antisemitism. Wistrich began by stating that hatred against Jews and Israel is a controversial, passionate subject. While not wanting to be labeled a panic- monger, he noted that events in Britain during the last decade are a real cause for anxiety.
